Ashley Steineckert, LCSW

Ashley Steineckert is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) licensed in Nevada and California. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Utah State University and a Master’s degree in Social Work from Texas State University.

Ashley’s professional journey began in Salt Lake City, Utah, where she advocated for children and their families involved in sexual and physical abuse or neglect allegations through the investigative interview process. She then served as a victim counselor for the Salt Lake County District Attorney’s office, providing crucial support and guidance to victims of sexual assault, child sexual abuse, domestic violence, assault, and families of homicide victims throughout the criminal justice process.

With extensive experience in one-on-one therapy, Ashley has helped individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, PTSD, trauma, and other mental health conditions. She employs a multidimensional approach to therapy, exploring the biological, psychological, social, and holistic needs of her clients. Ashley is dedicated to assisting clients in healing from trauma, building self-worth, improving relationship communication, learning healthy coping mechanisms, and achieving personal goals.

Ashley’s primary focus is to create a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental therapeutic environment. Her warm and genuine approach is centered on helping clients heal and cultivate a happy, healthy life.

She enjoys spending her time with family and friends, traveling, playing at the ocean, and is always willing to try new food (especially taco) recommendations.

Starting in late August 2024, Ashley will offer in-person therapy sessions in the San Diego, California area, and will continue to provide Telehealth sessions for clients in California and Nevada."
